Personal Care Kits

Donate a personal care kit to help someone in need--either here at home or somewhere around the world. Personal care kits make an impact on many precious lives: kits have helped refugee families in urgent need meet their basic needs, mothers recovering from natural disasters take care of their children, or touched the lives of local homeless.

How to donate a kit:

1. Label your bag with the earliest expiration date (either floss or toothpaste!).

2. Fill a gallon zip storage bag with these items:

  • 2 combs and/or brushes
  • 2 large bars of soap or 6-8 hotel-size bars (in original packaging)
  • 2 new washcloths (different colors)
  • 6 toothbrushes in original packaging)
  • 1 large tube of toothpaste or 4 travel-size tubes (in original packaging - expiring at least two years from drop-off date)
  • 1 package of dental floss (in original packaging - some brands do have expiration dates; please follow two year guideline above)

PLEASE NOTE: Because of custom regulations, we cannot accept any substitutes for the items listed. If you would like to donate other items, please package them separately.

SHOPPING TIPS: When you select the items for the kits, think of these words: basic and colorful. Select basic bath soap rather than ornamental ones. Choose basic and colorful toothbrushes.
